Division of Nursing Science (Master's Program), Division of Nutrition Science (Master's Program), Division of Nutrition Science (Doctoral Program)

Distinctive Features
-Division of Nursing Science
Providing study and research covering five area of specialization
The Division of Nursing Science places the major emphasis of its study and research on the development of nursing management ability, health management ability, and leadership ability. In addition to subjects essential for nursing research, we have established five areas of specialization: nursing management, mother-child health management, adult/geriatric health management, community health nursing, and nursing care and welfare services for the disabled. Another feature is that focus is also given to practical research and study to illuminate issues confronting medical professionals, partly because many students in this program have experience in the medical field.

-Division of Nutrition Science
Providing study and research covering two areas of specialization
The Division of Nutrition Science provides education and research focused on two fields: “basic nutrition science” and “practical nutrition science.” The former places emphasis on the quest for the essence of life science and nutrition science, and the latter focuses on an approach to nutrition science from a more practical perspective, or from the viewpoint of social contribution. Students are expected to acquire a broad range of knowledge and skills, including diet-control mechanisms using genetic engineering and cell engineering, influences of food on health, and experimental science for prevention of lifestyle-related diseases.
